Viewpoint can create stunning photos.  I don’t think anybody will miss what is in the background of this picture.  This is the most photographed landmark of the City of Lights or “Ville Lumière” as they say.  When talking about Iconic picture of Paris we are certainly talking about picture of the Eiffel Tower.  Nobody, spending some time in Paris as a tourist, would miss the Eiffel Tower.

Do you try alternate composition by changing your viewpoint?

This being said, the traditional picture of the Eiffel Tower is boring.  Seen so many time that some of us might just move to the next picture without looking at it anymore.  However, on this picture we can’t move to the next one without at least a smile.  The Eiffel Tower is framing nice tulips.

By changing your viewpoint you can get more interesting pictures. This picture, of the Eiffel Tower, would be more interesting to you and to your viewers than the usual one.  Nothing would prevent you from taking the traditional shot while you are on site.  But do think about getting low for an alternate composition.

The name of the game is to get people to stop, think and wonder… In this picture, the Tulips in the center and right part of the screen are in focus while others in the background are out of focus helping delineated between foreground and background.

The Hedgerow in the background is heading in the middle of the Eiffel Tower base and our eyes want to follow it to the monument.

In order to get this shot I had to get on my knees and tilt the camera from the ground looking up.  Doing so, I have created a picture that is interesting, different of the usual picture and we know the subject:  Paris in early Spring.

So, would you consider getting on your knees to make your viewer wonder and stop on your pictures?
